Tengo la Camisa Negra

Somebody needs to shoot me in the head. We just spent a whopping 1 hour and15 minutes talking about barcharts and piecharts. Honestly, it ain't that complicated. It is inferred that ECO 045 is a waste of my time.

Anyway, something happened to me in NYC that I haven't wrote about. Here goes:

A significant part of my winter break was spent either at the train station or freezing my ass off waiting for the bus. Let me just tell you, it is a very unpleasant feeling when you are so cold you cannot feel your legs.

Me and Tony were at the train station, and if you haven't already know, Tony is an African American/Black/however you want to call it guy. We were minding our business, just waiting for the E train. I was leaning on him and had my head on his chest. In comes this black guy, walks up to Tony and start preaching about relationships. (You get a lot of random people preaching stuff by the corner at the subway station). So he keeps talking to Tony, blatantly ignoring me, telling him about how his brother went crazy in the head because he married a Puerto Rican woman. It was hard to understand and follow what he was saying but the gist of it was how Puerto Rican women are evil and should be stayed away from at all cost.

Now, initially, I was trying to be an active participant of the conversation. But it just became so obvious that he wasn't interested in acknowledging me. And then it hit me!

Instead of being friendly, he was actually trying to warn Tony to stay away from me. He effin thought i was Puerto Rican!

Well, if I was one, I would be offended. Since I'm not, I just thought the whole thing was funny. This isn't the first time somebody thought I was a Latino. I get people coming up to me in Spanish all the time. -_-".

I hate not having my own laptop.

Where did it all go?

Thesis : Laptop crashed.

Therefore, resort to spending time in the library computers.

Hence, absence in blog world is inevitable.

2009 start with a huge pppiiiiiuuuu (sound of object falling down a cliff)
Then there was a huge BANG!
And now, it is slowly sounding like a sad love song.

I let you ponder on that for a while before I find more time to tell more.

baby boo

Awesome awesome day today.

Tan Sri Arizz somehow managed to find the time to squeeze me into his very very busy schedule. Aaaaa... It was so so SO good to see you!
You know how sometimes you have those moments when you felt like you were in a dream? That was how it was. It seemed so surreal to see Arizz all the way in NYC, almost halfway around the globe from KL where we usually hang out.

Lunch at Friday's then walking around mindlessly amongst the hordes of tourists at Times Square. You walk down the road, and you hear at least 5o different languages. It is true when they say that it is the 'junction/intersection of the world' or something like that.

My friends are a bit crazy but I know Arizz love love them 30 mins in. Hahaha. Them on the right are the 3 Stooges I was referring to before. They are the reason why my winter break is so much better than I thought it was going to be.

Attention to all : Fariq is officially in NYC. Hoh-mah-gowt! Can't wait to see that bugger. Am shivering with anticipation.

what's good people?

ngeeeehhhh...

i find it pretty ironic that my last post was about how people don't update their blogs.

okay i had many reasons that i came up along the way as to why I have not been updating my blog for more than a month. but u people ain't gonna wanna hear it. so let's just concentrate on the fact that..

I'm BaaaaaccccKKK!

aite. let's get down to business.
Fall semester just wrapped up with a horrible Greek History paper. Thank you Prof. Phillips, you will forever be the reason why I have nightmares of the Spartans and Macedonians breathing down my back because I just can't find it in me to remember why and how they started all their silly little wars.

So, I packed my bag, up and left for Queens, NYC. where I will be staying with Tony, who was kind enough to put up with my antics and offered his house for the next 3 weeks.

Now that I have all this free time in my hands, when I'm not running around the streets of Brooklyn with Tony and his Stooges, I can get back to tapping tapping these keyboards. Not mine by the way. My laptop just died on me and me needs to get a new one. Any reccomendation people?

Now, as you might think, New York should be able to provide me with more than enough materials to write about. And yes, that is true my friend.

So here's incident numero uno, on my 1st day of winter break :

We were walking down Manhattan and it was night time. People were lining up to watch their plays and Broadway shows and two of these people was a 40 year-old woman and her bf/husband. They look decent enough, just minding their own business, waiting for their show to start. And here come this man, holding a Venti ice coffee from Starbucks, and he decided

"Naaah..I don't feel like drinking this. hmmm..what can I do with it?"

So, he walked up to this lady, and out of nowhere, in front of everyone, just dump the whole drink on the lady's head and walked off. He was not even running for it, he was STROLLING away. The lady, with her stained Louis Vuitton bag <---i feel her pain, stood for a good 30 seconds without moving. And her dickhead bf/husband didn't do shit. and theeeen, she decided to get mad and chase after the coffee man in her Jimmy Choo's heels. I didn't see what happen next but am pretty sure she gave that man a hell of a time.

Haaah. That was a good night indeed. I feel so blessed that I was at the right time and place to witness that.

I wish you guys were there to share the moment with me.
There'll be more New York adventures to come.
It's good to be back.

It is snowing as hell here. I'll upload some pics on my next post.

Ice ice baby

People of the blogging world.

Please update your blogs.

It's bad enough that my email never have incomings,
nor does my phone ever ring,
nor does my mailbox ever get stuffed. (yes, people still write letters. try it out sometime)

I need to know what is going on with your life because,
a. I miss you
b. I care, seriously.
c. I wanna read some Manglish language. Honestly, I miss it.
d. For those back in Malaysia, a semblance of Malaysian taste is much appreciated.

So do what you commit yourself to do.

It is effin cold! -3 Celcius. Expected snow fall tonight. Wait, it's suppose to be autumn. I am NOT prepared for snow. bbrrrr.......

farewell me

I can't sleep, no not like I used to
I can't breathe, in and out like I need to
It's breaking ice now, to make any movement
What's your vice, you know that mine's the illusion

And all at once [As I'm trying]
I can help you out [Just to keep things right]
I'll be what you need [I kill myself to make]
I'll do anything [Everything perfect for you]

Goodbye apathy
So long, apathy
So don't sit still
But don't you move
Away, from here

So goodbye apathy [As I'm trying]
So long fancy free [Just to keep things right]
Goodbye apathy, [Kill myself to make]
I don't wanna be.. you [Everything perfect for you]

I don't walk right, not like I used to
There's a jump in my step, as I rush to see you
I could be happy here
As long as you're near to me
As long as you're close to me

Now that I'm alright [As I'm trying]
I can help you out [Just to keep things right]
I'll be what you need [I kill myself to make]
Goodbye apathy [Everything perfect for you]
So goodbye, apathy

So don't you stop pushing me
I can take so much

Everybody is watching you,
Everybody is watching me too.
